About the Project
Set amidst a bustling neighborhood in Bangalore is this home inspired by neoclassical architecture, tropical tones and a sophisticated personality. The infusions of warm greens and bold teals and navy carry through the home juxtaposed with bold monochromes and brass accents. The prominent infusion of greens and the tropical palette inspires the name Maison Verde.
The home opens into a dramatic foyer featuring classic black and white marble harlequin floors and a beautiful curved wood staircase. Warm oak wood floors throughout the home balance the soft greens and blues beautifully. The living room is drenched in a soft sage and a beautiful vaulted ceiling. The furniture has a dreamy modern and organic presence offset by a bold custom artwork by Priyanka Aelay. The dining space is covered in a beautiful watercolor mural that draws from the same tones and is flanked by a large curved fluted marble top bar on one side and a bold navy toned kitchen on the other. The first floor houses the private spaces from the bold and dramatic primary bedroom, a library cum family room and two other bedrooms.
