About the Project
With the Worli Sea Face’s views as an eternal comrade, this capacious apartment celebrates the colour blue, and Art Deco influences synonymous with the city. Designed for a family passionate about wildlife and their East Indian heritage, the space embodies a crossover between old-world elegance and modern freshness.
The ceilings, which measure 12 feet, summon volume play and layering with arches, Victorian motifs, and rafters. Portuguese influences stamp their presence as stained-glass doors and deep teal walls that ribbon their way through the abode.
The living and dining zones are helmed by a pared-down palette punctuated by colour-blocked upholstery, printed textiles, and prints that underpin their penchant for wildlife and the Maximum City. Blue assumes a new lease of life in the bedrooms, its presence earmarked through bold cameos and pattern interplay.
