Almost one year to the date since we started working on this gorgeous home, in the midst of the pandemic, our clients moved in! Welcome to a walkthrough of this cozy, charming and compact home we worked on last year. The apartment located in Central Bangalore is home to a young couple from Coorg and they bring with them the sense of charm, character and uniqueness this home beautifully embodies. Karuna a corporate professional and Saj who works on the beautiful coffee plantations of Coorg approached us last year to create a simple yet charming home on a budget for their first owned home together. In this segment we walk you through the beautiful private spaces in this home. The home had a nice layout where the public and private spaces are segregated and as you walk past the kitchen you come to a long hallway that connects the bedrooms. The long hallway is adorned with vintage Iranian rugs and maps from the clients travels. We created a custom cane insert hallway closet with a niche that houses one of the clients favorite piece of art. The cane is sandwiched between glass to keep it dust free. This space is home to a young couple Arun and Daniela. Arun a real estate developer and Daniela a business professional met in Spain and this was their first home after their marriage and move to India. When I first met Arun it was a for less than an hour between my meetings during a visit to Hyderabad for other projects. We hope you enjoyed the pastel perfect living spaces and kitchen from this home. The private spaces are equally beautiful and carry through that subtle and calm elegance. Master Bedroom The master bedroom is one of my favorite spaces in this home. It's neutral in its tones but has beautiful textural elements that make it all come together. Welcome to all about the French country inspired kitchen! The pocket doors with fluted glass on top and brass sliding handles open into this pretty pastel kitchen. The kitchen in this home was centered around the light pastel aesthetic our clients were loving. We carried through the color palette from the living areas and worked with a tile that was a classic pattern reminiscent of European floral tiles but in a pastel palette of soft blush pinks, mint green and greys.
